Thank you very much for your interest in applying for a position at the committee of our Erasmus Society (ESN Leeds). Very shortly, we would like to inform you that our society is part of a pan-European network called Erasmus Student Network (ESN) and it is not a simple Erasmus Society of the local Students Union.
Being part of ESN brings many positive aspects to our society, its members as well as many amazing opportunities from all over Europe to the committee members, but at the same time, a lot of responsibility as well as. Being part of our great Erasmus Society needs dedication, effort and a lot of willingness to contribute to your fellow students. At the same time though, you will receive many benefits as a committee member and you will come across many opportunities during your mandate that will shape your personal future. You will get the opportunity to travel at many places, not only within the UK, but to other European countries as well representing your society and you university. You will meet people from all over Europe and you will have the chance to have your voice heard on a European level through the network and contribute to the Erasmus programme! Being part of ESN Leeds will enrich your personality, your qualities and your personal skills! It is proven from recent statistics that anyone that has been an active committee member of ESN and involved in volunteering had better chances to find a job!
